Nacpan Beach
Nacpan Beach is a 4-kilometer stretch of golden sand backed by coconut palms, consistently rated as one of the best beaches in the Philippines. Unlike the lagoons which require boat tours, Nacpan is accessible by land, making it perfect for a half-day or full-day trip.
The beach has a more relaxed, bohemian vibe with a handful of beach bars, restaurants, and hammock spots along the sand. The waves are gentle enough for swimming but can pick up enough for body surfing.
At the far north end of the beach, you can hike over a headland to the smaller Calitang Beach, which forms a twin beach with Nacpan. The viewpoint above the sandbar connecting the two beaches is spectacular.
