Must visit Beach Easy beach sunset hidden-gem free photography

Long Beach in San Vicente is exactly what it sounds like: a stunning 14-kilometer stretch of white sand that puts most famous beaches to shame. What makes it special is the almost complete absence of crowds. On any given day, you might have kilometers of beach to yourself.

The beach faces west, making sunsets here absolutely spectacular. The sand is fine and white, the water is warm and clear, and the waves are gentle enough for swimming. A few scattered resorts dot the beach, but most of it remains completely undeveloped.

San Vicente is developing rapidly (an airport is planned), so this untouched paradise won't stay secret forever. Now is the time to visit.

Local tip
Rent a motorbike and drive along the beach road. You can stop anywhere and have your own private stretch of sand. The southern end near Alimanguan has the best sunset views.
