Kinabuch's Grill & Bar

Restaurant Easy restaurant grill local-food exotic nightlife

Kinabuch's is a Puerto Princesa institution: a sprawling open-air grill restaurant that's been serving locals and tourists for decades. The menu is enormous, featuring standard Filipino grilled dishes alongside more adventurous options like crocodile sisig, tamilok (woodworm), and monitor lizard.

Don't worry, there's plenty of conventional food too. The grilled seafood is excellent, the chicken inasal is crispy and flavorful, and the beer is always cold. The atmosphere is lively with Filipino pop music, karaoke, and large groups celebrating.

It's also one of the most affordable restaurants in the city: a full meal with drinks runs P200-400.

Local tip
Try the tamilok (woodworm) if you're adventurous. It's a Palawan delicacy that tastes like oyster. The crocodile sisig is also surprisingly good. Go with a group to share multiple dishes.
