Pamuayan Falls is the easiest waterfall to reach from Port Barton, just a 10-minute motorbike ride and a 5-minute walk from the road. The falls are smaller than Bigaho but still beautiful, with a natural pool deep enough for swimming.
The accessibility makes Pamuayan perfect for travelers who want a waterfall experience without committing to a longer hike. It's also great for families with children, as the trail is short and easy.
The falls are most impressive in the wet season. During dry season (March-May), water flow can be reduced but the pool is still swimmable.
How to get there

Port Barton is reached by van from Puerto Princesa in about three hours, or from El Nido in four to five hours.

From the village you can walk the roughly 4 km to the falls in 40 to 60 minutes, or take a tricycle or motorbike taxi from about P100.

There is a registration booth and parking at the trailhead, then a further 5 to 10 minutes on a flat path including one small river to ford.

Pamuayan is also a stop on the San Vicente inland tour, sold at around P1,500 for a full day.

Local tip
Combine with Bigaho Falls for a full waterfall day. Pamuayan first (quick dip), then continue to Bigaho (longer hike). Both on the same road heading north.
