El Nido Night Market

Market Easy market street-food budget bbq nightlife

Every evening, the El Nido town beach transforms into a bustling night market. Local vendors set up grills and tables right on the sand, offering some of the cheapest and most authentic food in town.

The star attraction is the BBQ: skewers of chicken, pork, and seafood grilled over charcoal for P20-50 each. Whole grilled fish (tilapia, bangus) go for P150-250. Fresh fruit shakes, halo-halo (Filipino shaved ice dessert), and local snacks round out the offerings.

The atmosphere is lively and social: travelers and locals mix at communal tables, share food, and enjoy the beachside setting. It's the best way to eat on a budget in El Nido.

Local tip
Come hungry around 6-7 PM when the grills are freshest. Try the chicken inasal (P30/skewer) and a mango shake (P60). Budget P200-300 for a full meal.
