Duli Beach
Duli Beach is El Nido's surfing spot: a long stretch of golden sand facing the open Pacific, receiving consistent swells from October to March. It's about an hour north of El Nido town by motorbike on a partially unpaved road.
The beach has a wild, undeveloped feel with just a couple of small resorts and a surf camp. The waves are beginner to intermediate level, and board rentals and lessons are available. Outside of surf season, the beach is calm and perfect for swimming.
The journey to Duli is part of the adventure: the last section of road passes through rice paddies and coconut groves with mountain views. It feels like a completely different world from the tour-boat El Nido.

Duli is 10 to 15 minutes north along the main road beyond Nacpan, so allow just over an hour from El Nido town.

Most people ride a scooter, roughly P800 to P1,200 for the day. A chartered tricycle is about P1,000 one way or P1,500 return.

The road is paved as far as Nacpan then turns rough. Watch for the green Barangay Bucana sign on the left and follow the signs down. The access track is steep and slippery after rain.

Surf season runs November to March and the beach has strong rip currents, so treat it as a surf beach rather than a casual swimming one. Bring repellent for the sand flies, and expect no phone signal.
