Corong-Corong Beach
Corong-Corong is the relaxed neighbor to El Nido's bustling town beach. Located about 10 minutes south by tricycle, this long stretch of sand has a more mellow vibe with beachfront restaurants, hammocks, and kayak rentals.
The beach faces directly west, making it one of the best sunset spots in the area. Several mid-range and boutique hotels line the shore, making Corong-Corong a popular alternative to staying in the noisier town center.
At low tide, the beach expands dramatically with wide tidal flats that reflect the sky beautifully. Kayaks can be rented (P300-500/hour) to paddle around the offshore rocks and small islands.

Corong-Corong starts about 1.5 km south of El Nido town, so you can walk it in 15 to 20 minutes along the main road.

Otherwise flag down any southbound tricycle. A seat costs around P30 and the ride takes about 10 minutes.

There is no entrance fee. Kayaks rent from the beach at roughly P300 to P400 an hour.

The beach faces west and is best late in the afternoon. The water is shallow with many moored boats, so it suits wading and sunsets more than swimming.
