About this route

Tour A is the most popular island hopping tour in El Nido, visiting the iconic lagoons and snorkeling spots of the Bacuit Archipelago. The tour includes Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Shimizu Island, and a beach stop: four of the most spectacular locations in El Nido.

Boats depart from the town beach between 8:30-9:00 AM and return by 3:00-4:00 PM. Lunch is included (grilled fish, rice, fruit) and eaten on the boat or at a beach stop.

The Route
  1. El Nido Town Beach Start
    Departure from start Registration here ₱1,200
    Meet at the town beach by 8:00 AM. Pay environmental fee (P200) and eco-tourism fee (P200) if you haven't already.
  2. Big Lagoon Highlight
    45-60 min here ₱1,200
    The iconic emerald lagoon enclosed by limestone cliffs. Kayak rental available (P200). Usually the first stop.
    Tip: Rent a kayak to explore the back channels.
  3. Small Lagoon Highlight
    30-45 min here ₱1,200
    Swim or kayak through a narrow rock opening into a hidden pool. More intimate than Big Lagoon.
  4. Shimizu Island Stop
    45-60 min here ₱1,200
    Excellent snorkeling with vibrant coral and tropical fish. Look for sea turtles near the cliff wall.
  5. Return to El Nido End
    Arrival here
    Boat returns to El Nido town beach around 3:00-4:00 PM.
Travel Tips

Bring reef-safe sunscreen because you'll be in the water a lot.

Rent a kayak at Big Lagoon (P200). It's the best way to explore.

Bring water shoes: useful for rocky entries at Small Lagoon and Secret Beach.
