About this route

The standard 4D3N loop the good operators run: overland to Rio Tuba, cross to Balabac, then three days of sandbars and islands most maps don't bother naming.

Routes flex with weather and permissions; Onuk in particular is a privilege, not a guarantee. Trust the crew's calls; they're reading swell you can't see.

Itinerary

Day 1

  1. Travel day: PPC to Balabac town Start
    Van to Rio Tuba, boat across, sunset from the pier.

Day 2

  1. Onuk Island Highlight
    ₱3,000
    The famous one: turtles in knee-deep turquoise, if the day allows.

Day 3

  1. Punta Sebaring & Mansalangan sandbar Highlight
    ₱14,000
    Low-tide desert of white sand; camp under the casuarinas.

Day 4

  1. Candaraman & return crossing End
    ₱3,000
    Starfish shallows in the morning, then the boat back to Rio Tuba.
Travel Tips
Pack like there are no shops, because there are no shops: cash, power banks, reef-safe sunscreen, dry bags, and any medication you need. Waterproof everything; the crossings are wet.
