Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center
The Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center (formerly Crocodile Farming Institute) is home to hundreds of Philippine saltwater and freshwater crocodiles, along with other endemic species including bearcats, porcupines, and Palawan peacock-pheasants.
The guided tours are educational and well-organized, explaining the conservation efforts for these endangered species. You can see crocodiles of all sizes, from hatchlings to massive 15-foot adults. There's also a small museum with taxidermy specimens and environmental exhibits.
The center plays an important role in breeding Philippine crocodiles, which are critically endangered. It's about 20 minutes from the city center.

Take a tricycle from the city center to the Crocodile Farm (20 minutes, P100-150).

Pay entrance fee (P40/adult) at the gate. Guided tours start regularly.

Follow the guide through the crocodile pens, nursery, and wildlife exhibits (45 minutes).
