Honda Bay is Puerto Princesa's island-hopping playground: a sheltered bay dotted with small islands each offering something different. Starfish Island has shallow waters full of starfish, Luli Island appears and disappears with the tide, and Cowrie Island has the best beach facilities.
The island-hopping experience is more relaxed than El Nido's, with calmer waters, sandier beaches, and fewer crowds. It's perfect for families or travelers who want a beach day without the long boat rides.
Tours depart from Honda Bay wharf (about 30 minutes from Puerto Princesa city) and typically visit 3 islands over 4-5 hours. Lunch is usually included.
Local tip
Ask to visit Pambato Reef if you want the best snorkeling. It's not always on the standard tour route but has the healthiest coral.
