Happiness Beach Bar sits right on El Nido's town beach, offering tables with your feet in the sand and views of the boats and limestone cliffs. The menu focuses on fresh seafood (grilled fish, shrimp, squid, and shellfish) along with Filipino favorites and international dishes.
The setting is the real draw: watching the sunset over Bacuit Bay with a cold San Miguel beer and a plate of grilled tuna belly is a quintessential El Nido experience. Prices are reasonable for the beachfront location.
The restaurant is particularly popular at dinner time when the beach BBQ fires up. Fresh catch is displayed on ice and grilled to order.
Local tip
Order the grilled tuna belly (P250) and a mango shake. Sit at the tables closest to the water for the best sunset view.
