Cadlao Lagoon

Lagoon Easy island-hopping tour-d lagoon kayaking

Cadlao Lagoon is tucked into the western side of Cadlao Island, the massive limestone island that dominates El Nido's skyline. The lagoon is smaller and less visited than Big or Small Lagoon, offering a more peaceful experience.

The water is calm, emerald green, and surrounded by mangroves and limestone cliffs. Kayaking is the best way to explore: you can paddle deep into the mangrove channels where the water becomes mirror-still and the silence is complete.

Part of Tour D, Cadlao Lagoon is often overshadowed by the more famous lagoons but many repeat visitors consider it their favorite for the serenity.

Local tip
If you can only do two tours, do A and D. Tour D visits Cadlao Lagoon, Pinagbuyutan, and less crowded beaches. It's the insider's choice.
