Cadlao Lagoon
Cadlao Lagoon is tucked into the western side of Cadlao Island, the massive limestone island that dominates El Nido's skyline. The lagoon is smaller and less visited than Big or Small Lagoon, offering a more peaceful experience.
The water is calm, emerald green, and surrounded by mangroves and limestone cliffs. Kayaking is the best way to explore: you can paddle deep into the mangrove channels where the water becomes mirror-still and the silence is complete.
Part of Tour D, Cadlao Lagoon is often overshadowed by the more famous lagoons but many repeat visitors consider it their favorite for the serenity.

Cadlao Lagoon is a Tour D stop, the quieter northern route. Book Tour D specifically, since the other three do not go there.

Boats leave the town beachfront or Corong-Corong around 9 in the morning and return about 4pm. Cadlao is the island directly across from town.

Pay the P400 Eco-Tourism Development Fee once before you sail and keep the receipt for 10 days.

Motorised boats stop at the lagoon entrance rather than going inside, so you kayak or swim the last part in a life jacket. Strong paddlers can also rent a kayak on the town beach and reach Cadlao in 30 to 60 minutes without a tour.
