Skeleton Wreck

The Skeleton Wreck (also called East Tangat Wreck) is the most accessible WWII wreck in Coron: a small Japanese supply ship sitting in just 5-8 meters of crystal-clear water. The hull is clearly visible from the surface, making it perfect for snorkeling without any diving experience.

The wreck has been colonized by soft and hard corals, creating an artificial reef teeming with marine life. Schools of fusiliers swirl around the hull, lionfish hide in the superstructure, and giant groupers patrol the perimeter.

For scuba divers, the wreck offers easy penetration into the holds. For snorkelers, looking down through the clear water at the coral-encrusted ship below is surreal: you're floating above a piece of WWII history.
