Beach Easy Sandbar Camping Remote
Punta Sebaring is the sand spit at the southern point of Bugsuk Island, and it does not photograph honestly: the sand is finer and the scale bigger than any picture manages. At low tide the bar spreads into a plain of white you can walk for half an hour. It's a standard stop on Balabac expeditions, and one of the classic camping spots, with tents under the casuarina trees just off the sand. There are no facilities of any kind. Everything you need arrives on your boat and leaves with it. Parts of Bugsuk are private and access arrangements shift; your operator handles it.
Local tip
Build your visit around low tide, when the sandbar triples in size and the shallows go glassy. Ask your operator about current access to Bugsuk before the trip; arrangements change year to year.
