Port Barton Road Viewpoint
On the winding road between San Vicente and Port Barton, there's an unmarked viewpoint that offers one of the most spectacular panoramas in Palawan. The road climbs through dense jungle into the mountains, and at the highest point, you can see the coastline stretching in both directions with jungle-covered mountains below.
There's no sign or formal viewing platform, just a widening in the road where you can pull over. The view is especially stunning in the golden light of late afternoon or early morning.
If you're riding a motorbike between San Vicente and Port Barton, this is the mandatory photo stop. The road itself is an adventure: partially unpaved, winding through the mountains with occasional river crossings.

Rent a motorbike in San Vicente town (P500/day) or Port Barton. There is no public transport on this road; vans between the two go the long way via Roxas.

From San Vicente Poblacion, ride south on the Port Barton-Kemdeng Road to Kemdeng Beach, where the paved coastal road ends.

Continue south on the dirt road into the hills toward Port Barton. Parts were washed out by storms in July 2025, so ask locally before setting off and avoid it after heavy rain.

Stop at the high point where the road opens up over the coast, about 30 minutes out of San Vicente, for the view.
