Sabang Beach

Sabang Beach is the coastal village that serves as the gateway to the Underground River. While most visitors rush through on their way to the cave, the beach itself is worth exploring: a long stretch of golden sand backed by dense tropical forest.

The village has a handful of resorts and restaurants, a mangrove paddle boat tour (P150), and a zip line across the river (P500). It's a good place to spend a few extra hours before or after your Underground River tour.

The beach is quieter than those in El Nido or Coron, with a more local, village atmosphere. Swimming is good, though the waves can pick up in the afternoon.
