Twin Reef
Twin Reef is the premier snorkeling destination in the Port Barton area. Located about 20 minutes by boat from the village, this shallow reef system is home to vibrant coral gardens, giant clams, schools of tropical fish, and frequent sea turtle sightings.
The reef is usually included in the standard island-hopping tour but can also be visited as a standalone trip. The water is crystal clear with visibility often exceeding 15 meters, and the reef is shallow enough (2-5 meters) for easy snorkeling.
Reef sharks are occasionally spotted in the deeper water around the reef edges, harmless blacktip reef sharks that add to the excitement. The coral is well-protected and in excellent condition.

Port Barton is reached by van from Puerto Princesa in about three hours, or from El Nido in four to five hours.

Twin Reef is a snorkelling site rather than an island, so you visit it from the boat and there is nothing to land on.

It is on the standard shared Tour A at roughly P1,500 to P1,800 per person, with gear included.

The reef has lost roughly half its coral cover to boat anchor damage, so keep off the coral and choose an operator that moors rather than anchors.
