About
Dilumacad Island, nicknamed Helicopter Island for its distinctive shape (visible from the approach), features one of the most beautiful beaches in the El Nido island-hopping circuit. The white sand beach faces west with dramatic cliff backdrops.
Part of Tour C, the island offers excellent snorkeling along the reef just offshore. The coral is healthy and you'll see a good variety of reef fish, sea stars, and occasionally sea turtles in the deeper water.
The beach itself is long enough to spread out even when other tour boats are present. There are some basic thatched shelters for shade.
Local tip
Snorkel along the reef to the right side of the beach (facing the sea), where the coral is healthiest.
