Bigaho Falls
Bigaho Falls is a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall about 30 minutes by motorbike from Port Barton. The main cascade drops into a large, deep pool perfect for swimming. The water is cool and refreshing after the hike through the tropical forest.
The trail from the road is about 20 minutes through jungle, crossing a river and passing through farmland. It's well-marked but can be muddy in the rainy season. The falls are most impressive during or after the wet season when water flow is strongest.
Few tourists make the trip, so you'll likely have the falls to yourself, especially on weekdays. Local guides are available but not required.

Rent a motorbike in Port Barton (P500/day) and ride north for about 30 minutes. The road is partially unpaved.

Park at the trailhead and pay the small entrance fee (P50). Follow the trail through the jungle.

Hike 20 minutes, crossing a river. Wear water shoes or sandals with grip.

Arrive at the falls. Swim in the deep pool below the main cascade.
