Star Beach

Beach Easy island-hopping tour-b beach snorkeling unique

Star Beach gets its name from the tiny star-shaped sand grains found along its shore, actually the exoskeletons of tiny organisms called foraminifera. Look closely (or use a magnifying glass) and you'll see thousands of perfect little stars in the sand.

Part of Tour B, the beach is small but beautiful with crystal-clear shallow water perfect for snorkeling. The reef starts just meters from shore, making it ideal for beginners. You'll commonly see clownfish, parrotfish, and sea stars.

Tour B is the least popular of the four tours, which means Star Beach and the other stops tend to be quiet and uncrowded.

Local tip
Look at the sand with a magnifying glass or your phone camera zoomed in. The star shapes are incredible. Tour B is underrated and less crowded than A or C.
